Historic Preservation Commission

Overview

This commission is dedicated to the historic preservation and protection of all sites, structures, and objects that represent and embody the historical and cultural heritage of Paramus. The Paramus Historic Preservation Commission (PHPC) will continue to build on the foundation established by the Bergen County Department of Cultural and Historic Affairs’ Historic Sites Survey (2000).

Mission Statement

The Paramus Historic Preservation Commission seeks to conserve and protect all sites, structures, and objects that represent and embody the historical and cultural heritage of Paramus. Through education and public awareness programs, the PHPC ultimately wishes to preserve the past while moving toward the future.

The Paramus Historic Commission will meet every other month on the second Tuesday at The James J Tedesco Life Safety Complex Paramus, NJ. Education Center & Conference Room. The meetings start at 7:00 P.M.
