Overview

This board effectively develops, maintains and promotes a sustainable, safe, and productive shade tree resource that benefits the physical, economic, environmental, and social well being of the community and its residents. We will also continue to improve the quality of life in Paramus.

The Board of Shade Tree & Parks Commission meets monthly on the second Wednesday of each month, except for July and August when the meetings are combined into one meeting at the end of July. There is no meeting in August. The meetings are held in the Life Safety Complex, Shade Tree & Parks Office, 1st Floor conference room. The meetings begin at 7:00 pm.  The 2025 meeting dates are:
